Hillary still ahead 2-1 over Obama among City of Buffalo Democrats; increases her lead among African American Voters
Williamsville, New York - Goldhaber Research Associates, LLC (GRA) announces that close to two-fifths of all registered Democrats in the City of Buffalo continue to favor Hillary, while only a fifth favors Obama, as their ’08 presidential nominee. Among Democratic voters living in the City, however, a significantly higher percentage of African Americans (37%) favored Hillary against Obama (20%). In an earlier poll of 411 registered democrats in the City of Buffalo conducted February 13-18, 2007, 28% of African Americans favored Hillary and 27% favored Obama.
GRA, the area’s largest market research firm, conducted the poll, which surveyed 282 registered democratic voters, who lived in the City of Buffalo. The poll was conducted April 19-24, 2007. At the 95% confidence level, this poll has a margin of error of +/- 5.8%.
